Busta Rhymes Scolds Influencer for Calling Him Tracy Morgan

Woo-hah, Busta Rhymes is getting one social media troll in check.

The rapper known for “Break Ya Neck” was upset when someone at Art Basel Miami Beach mistakenly thought he was a different celebrity. He quickly ended the conversation after the person asked for a picture, clearly not recognizing him.

The person playing a prank introduced themselves as Tracy Morgan in a video posted by TMZ on December 8th. Busta Rhymes, who had been smiling, immediately frowned and asked, “Wait, what did you say?”

Despite the troll’s attempt to deflect responsibility onto someone else, Busta insisted on getting an answer, saying, “I’m just asking a question, I’m not accusing you of anything. I’m confused.”

I only learn by asking questions,” she explained, at 53 years old. “I was trying to show you affection with a photo, but you reacted like it was a joke?”

Busta Rhymes (born Trevor George Smith Jr.) wasn’t convinced by the TikTok user’s explanation that people were simply calling her ‘Tracy’.

“I didn’t hear nobody say Tracy,” Busta told the jokester. “You the only one who said it.”

Busta reprimanded the online critic, calling their behavior foolish, and warned them, “Don’t mess with adults, or you’ll face consequences.”

Busta Rhymes had another difficult encounter that night. A TMZ video from December 9th shows him arguing with content creator Giovanni Arnold, who told him to “stay Black” while requesting an autograph.

“You a clown now, too?” Busta snapped back. “What the f–k do you mean ‘stay Black?'”

When Giovanni, known online as GTV Reality, said a particular phrase was his “slogan,” Busta responded sternly, “I’m not familiar with that, and I’m serious – don’t say that to me.”
