Caitlyn Jenner Reacts to Kylie Jenner’s Romance With Timothée Chalamet

Caitlyn Jenner is keeping up with Kylie Jenner’s love life.

Caitlyn Jenner was incredibly charming when asked about Kylie Jenner’s three-year relationship with Timothée Chalamet.

Caitlyn Jenner shared that her priority is simply her daughter’s happiness. She expressed relief and joy that her daughter is currently happy, as she told reporters at Los Angeles International Airport on January 14th, according to a video from Backgrid.

I’ve been following this story, and it’s so lovely to hear my favorite actress, at 76, talk about her daughter’s partner! She confirmed she’s met him, and she was so sweet, calling him a ‘great kid’ and really praising him as a ‘phenomenal actor.’ It’s wonderful to see her so supportive.

“And he’s very good to Kylie,” Caitlyn added. “Even more important.”

Caitlyn isn’t the only member of Kylie’s family who seems to like Timothée! The Kardashian-Jenner family included him on their holiday gingerbread house in December. This annual tradition, led by Kris Jenner, features the names of all their closest family members.

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner have generally kept their relationship out of the public eye since they first started dating three years ago. However, Timothée recently showed his affection for Kylie during his acceptance speech at the Critics Choice Awards earlier this month.

Speaking from the stage, the 30-year-old expressed deep gratitude to their supporters, saying, “I love you all and I truly couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you so much for everything.”

Kylie, who shares 7-year-old Stormi and 3-year-old Aire with her ex, Travis Scott, sweetly responded to Timothée by mouthing the words, “I love you.”

While accepting the Best Male Actor award at the 2026 Golden Globes on January 11th, he publicly acknowledged her, calling her his “partner” and expressing his love for her.

Kylie then hugged Odessa A’zion, who starred alongside Timothée in Marty Supreme, and told her she was very happy.

I’ve been following Kylie for a while now, and it’s interesting to see her and her partner so openly affectionate lately. For a long time, though, she was really private about her relationships and made it clear she wanted to keep her love life out of the public eye. It’s a bit of a change to see her so open now!

“Privacy is so important to me in life,” she told British Vogue in August 2024. “It feels so good.”

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet began dating rumors in April 2023, shortly after she ended her relationship with Travis Scott, the father of her two children, Stormi (born in 2018) and Aire (born in 2022).

In August 2023, TopMob News reported that Kim Kardashian and Timothée Chalamet were still dating, even though rumors suggested they had broken up.

Following a public display of affection at Beyoncé’s birthday concert in Los Angeles in September 2023, the couple were seen together at a glamorous dinner during New York Fashion Week.

Later that same month, the couple attended the U.S. Open in New York. 

It was love-all at the US Open in September 2023. 

During a recent interview with GQ about privacy, Timothée laughed when asked about Kylie’s level of fame.

That made me think of the recent South Park episode about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s privacy tour,” he said. “It’s funny because people often get really confused when someone famous says they want to be private.”

Okay, so they didn’t walk the red carpet together, which, honestly, was a little heartbreaking, but once they were inside the 2023 awards show? Forget it! All smiles, totally adorable. It was like all was right with the world just seeing them together on their date night. I was glued to the screen, of course!

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet both attended the after-party following Timothée’s hosting gig on Saturday Night Live in November 2023, though they arrived at the event separately.

What award show? 

The 2024 Golden Globes felt like a night just for couples, especially with all eyes on Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, who shared a lot of sweet moments together. Everything seemed perfect for the couple, and there were no reports of any drama or issues.

Kylie accompanied Timothée to the Golden Globes for the second year in a row in 2025. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama for his role as Bob Dylan in the film A Complete Unknown. Although Adrien Brody took home the award, Timothée found success with Kylie, as the two enjoyed a romantic evening together.

Okay, so she wasn’t with him at the actual Oscars, which, honestly, killed me a little – I needed to see them together on that red carpet! But thankfully, my queen Kylie was by Timothée’s side at the Vanity Fair after-party. He was nominated for playing Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, and seeing them together after that… it made everything okay. I was losing it, seriously! It was everything.

The pair went to see the Los Angeles Lakers play the Minnesota Timberwolves in Los Angeles in April 2025.

Timothée Chalamet and his partner made their red carpet debut as a couple at the David Di Donatello awards in Rome. Timothée also received a special award recognizing his acting talent.

Kylie’s sister, Kendall Jenner, accompanied her on a date to see the New York Knicks play the Boston Celtics at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Kylie visited Timothée in Budapest in August 2025 while he was filming Dune: Part Three. They took pictures with fans while out at a coffee shop.
