As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve got some news that might disappoint fellow fans of Idea Factory International. The anticipated delivery service RPG, “Calamity Angels: Special Delivery,” which we were all geared up to play this summer of 2025, has been pushed back. Now, we’ll be getting our hands on it sometime in 2026 instead. But fear not, cross-platform gamers, it’s still coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch!
On June 26th, the game titled “Calamity Angels: Special Delivery” was released in Japan for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
Here is an overview of the game, via Idea Factory International:
About
Guide an eclectic team of peculiar couriers in a delivery-oriented RPG, where you navigate them through perilous landscapes, menacing beasts, and encounter cunning competitors vying for supremacy as the premier delivery service in the Orkotris Region.
A new adventure awaits with every package!
Key Features
- In the Mood for Battle? – Running a tip-top delivery service means mailing out orders AND keeping your crew in check. Watch their moods—if they’re unhappy, they might ignore your commands, but their negligence could deliver positive surprises and even victories in battle!
- Out for Delivery! – Head to the Bulletin Board and see what deliveries await! Inspect the parcel, pack it tightly (no gaps allowed!), and assemble your crew with the right gear (to bonk any pesky foes) and tools for a smooth drop-off. Each successful drop-off delivers sweet rewards your way, so handle with care!
- Delivery in Three-to-Five Business Days (Unless you Run into a Boss) – Start your adventure with a roulette spin to determine your next move. Land on shop spaces for goodies, collect special packages for rewards, and maybe tackle some sneaky bosses along the way!
- Kei Nanameda… Delivers! – From the character designer of Mary Skelter and Death end re;Quest, Kei Nanameda presents a fresh delivery service world with lively dialogue, intense battles, and a quirky cast full of energy!
