Call the Midwife’s Cyril meets Rosalind’s parents in first-look pictures

A preview for the next episode of Call the Midwife, shown after the season 15 premiere, introduced Rosalind’s parents. Viewers will see them meet Cyril as their relationship becomes more serious.

We’ve got a sneak peek at some photos showing the couple having tea with their parents – it sounds nice, but things don’t exactly go smoothly.

The official description of the show says that Major Clifford, played by David Bark-Jones, and Josephine, played by Natasha Joseph, are initially friendly, but as the day goes on, the mood becomes tense and uncomfortable, as Zephryn Taitte has mentioned.

As a movie fan, I’m really intrigued by what’s happening with Cyril this season. It’s not just about the romance – he’s also dealing with the pressure of meeting her parents and worrying about what they think of him, whether it’s fair or not. It’s a sweet story, but definitely has some heartache mixed in. He’s got a lot on his plate, balancing love with all that family drama.

Natalie Quarry revealed that the couple, who began their connection during last year’s Christmas special and became closer as Cyril and Lucille’s divorce progressed, will face challenges this season that push Rosalind to mature significantly.

It shifted how she sees things, with both positive and negative aspects. She described it as a significant and exciting year for her.

Poplar is on edge after reports of a possible rabies outbreak surfaced. The concern began when Sister Catherine found a dog showing signs of the disease, like foaming at the mouth.

The synopsis notes that worried residents gathered for a public meeting, and the atmosphere was strained, even though Dr. Turner tried to ease tensions.

At the maternity home, Trixie cares for a woman in difficult labor, but her own sister-in-law, who is also pregnant, becomes frightened by the woman’s screams and runs from the room.

That prompts Sister Julienne to “encourage the scared mother to admit what’s concerning her”.

Call the Midwife season 15 continues on Sunday at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
