Callum Turner Reveals How He, Wife Dua Lipa Inspire One Another

Callum Turner and Dua Lipa get deeper than you’ve ever known with each other. 

Just weeks after a private wedding in London, the actor known for his role in Eternity spoke about their lasting connection.

Turner shared with The Hollywood Reporter on June 10th that she and her partner prioritize spending time together, explaining, “You want to be inspired by the person you’re with.”

This showed exactly how much the singer of “Training Season” still shapes his preferences, especially when it comes to style and taste.

I learned something really interesting! Apparently, before the interview, he and Zadie Smith went to see the film Obsession – it was her idea! But honestly, he was much more excited to get back to reading White Teeth, which she’d also suggested. I’m glad she got him reading again!

Turner playfully said he’d rather be reading than watching a horror movie. He admitted that’s funny because he’s actually about to star in one, but he clarified that he does find them genuinely frightening.

Turner definitely shared his taste in movies with Dua Lipa. He confessed to acting a bit snobby while watching One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest with her, letting his more sophisticated side come out.

She hadn’t seen the movie before, so I playfully challenged her to identify some of the famous actors. Looking back, I realize I was being a bit of a know-it-all, bragging about having seen it before and telling her to look for specific details.

Despite their busy travel schedule, Turner shared that he and Dua connect deeply through books and films. He explained they both have a shared love of art that they enjoy experiencing and discussing together.

Dua Lipa, who frequently posts about her relationship online, has said it’s difficult to maintain privacy as a couple because they enjoy sharing their happiness with the world.

She told Harper’s Bazaar last year that she’s incredibly happy and feels it would be wrong to stay silent about it.

After Dua Lipa discovered actor Callum Turner was someone she could certainly give her heart to, the musician joined her fellow Londoner at a February 2024 BAFTA afterparty. 

The Brits took their love across the pond, making their arrival at London St Pancras Station after taking the Eurostar from Paris in March 2024. 

After the singer got “Physical” at the April 2024 Time 100 Gala, she enjoyed a date night with Turner at NYC’s Zero Bond.

When Lipa made her debut as a Glastonbury headliner in June 2024, Turner was right by her side. 

One kiss is all it takes. Lipa included a touch of PDA in this November 2024 carousel from their trip to Tokyo. 

The singer of “Levitating” shared a joyful post on Instagram in December 2024, calling the year “too much fun.” This came just a day after she first showed off her unique engagement ring.

After dating for over a year and a half, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner officially appeared as a couple on the red carpet at the 2025 Met Gala. They then shared a peek with their Instagram followers of their afterparty celebration at a New York City pizzeria.

“I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period,” Lipa explained to Vogue UK in June 2025, while confirming their engagement.
 
“I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be,” continued the musician (with Turner at his Rosebush Pruning premiere in Berlin Feb. 14, 2026). But with her Radical Optimism Tour wrapped in December 2025, “All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?'”

Asked his hopes and dreams for the future, Turner (attending the Oscars with his bride-to-be in March 2026) told etalk, “I don’t know. Just be together forever.”

While the wedding ceremony on May 30, 2026, at London’s Marylebone town hall was simple, the bride’s outfit was anything but. She paired her husband’s navy Ferragamo suit with a made-to-order Schiaparelli skirt suit, a hat designed by Stephen Jones, Christian Louboutin heels, and a Bulgari necklace.
