Indeed, when Stellar Blade debuted on PC, it seemed like there were more explicit modifications available for the game than one could count using a pliable prop.
Indeed, the freshly added Zone Kit modding tools for Stalker 2 from yesterday’s major update share a resemblance, yet they bring in a touch of humorous and quirky elements.
Given the compact 700GB footprint of the Zone Kit, which was just released not long ago, there aren’t many mods available yet to take advantage of it. Nevertheless, the growing number of projects on Mod.IO and Steam Workshop hint at some exciting modifications that will significantly enhance your zoning experience.
Focusing on Mod.IO particularly, it’s interesting to note that out of the 61 mods available, 19 were created by a single author, identified as Sanekum. This author bears a striking resemblance to Aleksandr Silantev, a renowned 3D Artist from GSC, as noted by PC Gamer.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve verified (double-checked the maths) that around one-third of Stalker mods on this platform feature characters like Shrek and CJ from San Andreas. However, as a no-nonsense games journalist, I prefer to focus on gritty, realistic experiences. That’s why I find Sanekum intriguing; it allows you to grab an RPG grenade or a lethal nettle branch to take down some Sherman tanks that have been substituted for wild boars in this game.
Are you implying that scenario is not entirely plausible or practical? It appears the Sherman tanks are being driven by boars, who have somehow been enchanted and given sufficient military training to operate armored fighting vehicles with their small hooves. Similarly, it seems reasonable that the modification transforming a mini-Sidorovich into a handgun is anatomically sound.
Additionally, it appears that several of the initial Mod.IO modifications for Stalker seem to be transfers or adaptations of mods found on platforms such as Nexus Mods.
It would be exciting to observe the creative endeavors of Stalker’s devoted modding group once they’ve acquired a brand-new PC, specifically for the purpose of running the Zone Kit efficiently and having ample room for experimentation.
