Oh dear, it seems the NDP has been caught in a bit of a pickle… or should we say, a “Wetz” situation?
When Politics Meets OnlyFans: A Match Made in Heaven? 😳
Our dear Canadian friend Jagmeet Singh, the leader of the New Democratic Party, has recently found himself in a rather sticky situation. He starred in a campaign video alongside adult film star Jessica Wetzstein, aka Jessica “Wetz,” causing quite a stir in the Great White North.
But alas, the NDP has decided to cut ties with Ms. Wetzstein after discovering her comments about the Holocaust. Oh dear, that’s a bit of a faux pas, isn’t it?
Wetzstein, who describes herself as a “health and human rights” activist, has an OnlyFans account where she sells “hot and wild pics and vids” and “uncensored/explicit PPV content.” Quite the entrepreneur, if you ask us!
In a previous video, Singh and Wetzstein discussed expanding universal healthcare, but in their latest collaboration, the 29-year-old sex worker criticized Canada and the U.S. for supporting Israel in the Gaza war while wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh. Talk about a political fashion statement!
“As Canadians, we’re proud the American military does not get to decide what goes on inside our borders,” Wetzstein says in the video. “Palestinians deserve the exact same thing,” she adds.
Singh chimes in, stating that Canada should not engage in trade with Israel, especially a Netanyahu government that violates human rights. Quite the bold move, Mr. Singh!
However, things took a turn for the worse when the NDP discovered a TikTok video in which Wetzstein compared Israeli politician Amit Halevi’s comments about Palestinian babies to Nazi comments about Jewish children during the Holocaust. Ouch.
“We disagree with the comparison that was made. Nothing should be compared to the Holocaust,” NDP spokesperson Anne McGrath told the National Post. “This individual will not be participating in future campaign events.”
Wetzstein has since made a video response criticizing the party and confirming she is no longer on the campaign trail with Singh. Poor thing, thrown under the bus she was invited on…
