A cancelled animated show is getting a sequel three years after it was unexpectedly cut short. Creators Waco O’Guin and Roger Black were once a major force in television, first gaining attention with *Brickleberry* on Comedy Central in the 2010s. While that show had a good run, the creators later found success on Netflix with two new animated series that hinted at a larger connected universe. Unfortunately, those plans never came to fruition.
I watched both *Paradise PD* and *Farzar* do really well on Netflix, so I was surprised when they were cancelled. The people who made the shows always felt like there was more to the story, though. A lot of fans, myself included, were hoping for a crossover between the two worlds, and it looks like that’s finally happening! They’ve launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a graphic novel called *Paradise PD & Farzar: The Final Season*, which will bring that long-awaited story to life.
Paradise PD & Farzar to Crossover in New Sequel

The creators of *Paradise PD* and *Farzar*, Waco O’Guin and Roger Black, are teaming up again for a new graphic novel. This project will combine the worlds of both shows in one story, picking up after the finales of each series. Both *Farzar* and *Paradise PD* originally aired on Netflix in 2022, but were unfortunately cancelled after one and four seasons respectively. The graphic novel will feature characters from both shows joining forces to face a shared threat.
I’m so excited about this! Roger Black and Waco O’Guin, the masterminds behind *Paradise PD* and *Farzar*, are bringing both worlds together for one last, epic graphic novel. They’ve always felt there was one more crazy story to tell with these characters, and this project lets them really go wild – pushing the boundaries, expanding the universe, and giving fans the over-the-top ending we’ve all been hoping for. And get this – they’ve already hinted at what the story will be, and it sounds absolutely massive!
What to Know for Paradise PD and Farzar’s New Crossover

The creators promise a definitive ending for both shows with an epic storyline: the Paradise PD team will travel through time and space to stop the villainous CEO Charles Lovely and rescue Chief Crawford’s baby son. This adventure will lead them to the planet Farzar in what they’re calling the biggest crossover ever—though they jokingly compare it to the classic sitcom pairings of *Full House* and *Family Matters*. This project is intended to fund high-quality releases, special editions, artwork from the creators, and other exciting merchandise that fans will love.
GUNGNIR is publishing a new story written by Black and O’Guin, with artwork by Robby Cook, known for his work on shows like *Star Trek Lower Decks* and *Solar Opposites* (which is finishing its final season). The project is being funded through a Kickstarter campaign and is partnering with Roditeli Productions, the team behind the recent revival of *SWAT KATS*. Kevin Roditeli is executive producing this new series, having also worked on *Paradise PD* and *Farzar: The Final Season*.
