Capcom revealed a new Fighting Pass for the incredibly popular game Street Fighter 6, but many fans are unhappy with it.
Okay, so the people making this game said they’d make the Battle Passes better, with stuff that actually feels worth getting. But honestly, the art for this new one? It feels like they’re just messing with us. It’s a total joke!
The game’s promotional materials heavily feature characters like R. Mika and Ibuki, even though players can’t actually control them in the game.
The characters wear stylish, sporty clothes, but most aren’t actually unlockable in the game. The only outfit you can get is Terry Bogard’s casual basketball look, called Outfit 3.

So, the new Fighting Pass has some cool stuff – they’re adding new color options for Rashid and E. Honda, which is awesome! Plus, there’s a bunch of new stuff to customize my avatar with, and some fun stickers I can use in-game. Definitely gonna check it out!
Plus, you’ll receive Capcom Sports Club, a classic arcade game the author personally loves – that’s a nice bonus!
It feels unfair to include characters in promotional art who aren’t playable in the game, and the lack of any new athletic-themed costumes with this update only adds to players’ disappointment.
Like one fan wrote on YouTube: “Something is wrong inside the Street Fighter 6 development team.”
