Capcom announced that Pragmata, their new game, is finished and ready for release on PlayStation 5 in April.
The core game is finished and ready to be put on physical copies, and Capcom is likely preparing a launch day update. It will be released on April 17, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
Capcom announced that development on Pragmata is complete, calling it a major milestone. They thanked fans for their support and said they’re excited to release the game soon. The development team can’t wait for players to experience it.
Pragmata, a new game from Capcom, was originally revealed during Sony’s 2020 PlayStation 5 showcase. It’s one of the few remaining unreleased titles from that event, along with Little Devil Inside. After almost six years, it’s still uncertain if the game will live up to expectations, but early signs suggest it’s a well-made title.
We’ve had a chance to try out parts of the game over the last year and have consistently been impressed with what we’ve seen. You can still download a demo from the PlayStation Store to play about 30 minutes and get a feel for the game yourself.
