Disney is hoping that Captain America: Brave New World could get some serious awards attention.
Captain America: Brave New World, the fourth Captain America movie from Marvel Studios, came out in US cinemas in February. The film is directed by Julius Onah and stars Anthony Mackie returning as Sam Wilson, now Captain America, alongside Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross, who transforms into Red Hulk.

Disney is hoping Captain America 4 will be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. If it wins, producers Kevin Feige and Nate Moore would accept the award.
Captain America: Brave New World is being submitted for several Academy Awards, including Best Director (Onah), Best Actor (Mackie), and supporting acting nominations for Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Tim Blake Nelson, and Ford. The film is also being considered for awards in categories like Film Editing, Makeup & Hairstyling, Original Score, Production Design, Sound, and Visual Effects, as well as nominations for Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, and Liv Tyler in the Best Supporting Actress category.

Critics had a mixed reaction to Captain America: Brave New World, giving it a 46% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. However, audiences enjoyed the film more, with a 76% approval rating. Worldwide, the movie has earned around $415.1 million.
In the movie, Ramirez portrays Joaquin Torres, also known as Falcon, and Lumbly plays Isaiah Bradley. Esposito takes on the role of Seth Voelker, or Sidewinder, while Nelson plays Samuel Sterns, Haas plays Ruth Bat-Seraph, Roquemore is Leila Taylor, and Tyler plays Betty Ross.
