We already knew Captain America would be one of those leaders, probably putting together a team of really heroic types to deal with this huge cosmic threat and tournament. But, some stuff leaked online, and it looks like Cap’s team might be a crazy mix of characters from some of the most famous groups in Marvel history!
In Marvel’s Tōkon: Fighting Souls, two teams have been revealed so far: The Unbreakable X-Men and The Amazing Guardians. The X-Men are led by Storm and include Wolverine, Magik, and Danger. Spider-Man leads The Amazing Guardians, a brand new team featuring Star-Lord, Peni Parker, and Ms. Marvel. Because Spider-Man’s team is made up of characters from different backgrounds, we can expect other teams to be equally surprising and unique.
