Two social media stars are counting their blessings after a terrifying experience.

While food enthusiasts Nina Santiago, also known as NinaUnrated, and Patrick Blackwood were capturing their culinary experiences at a Houston, Texas eatery on camera, an unexpected incident occurred – an SUV plowed straight through the restaurant’s window, colliding with them.

In an Instagram video posted on August 17 (and now widely shared), Nina and Patrick were enjoying a slider sandwich when, unexpectedly, a vehicle crashed through the side of the restaurant where they were dining. Their table was overturned, and glass fragments flew everywhere. Nina tumbled to the floor, with Patrick narrowly avoiding landing on top of her as he pushed himself away from the overturning booth.

Although the cause of the accident isn’t certain yet, Nina provided an update on her condition following her statement that the SUV struck them head-on.

Sharing photographs of her injuries, which included cuts on her wrist and face, she also mentioned that the vehicle appeared suddenly but fortunately, both she and Patrick were able to escape harm.

In a personal reflection, I shared that the crash profoundly reshaped my perspective. “This harrowing episode taught me who truly matters in life; it’s too precious to hold grudges or harbor anger. Let go, show forgiveness, embrace the present, and treasure those close to you – for this could have been our last shared moment.
