Cardi B Reveals Where She, Stefon Diggs Stand Amid Breakup Rumors

Cardi B‘s relationship status isn’t anyone’s business but her own.

With speculation growing about her relationship with Stefon Diggs, the rapper behind “Bodak Yellow” has offered an update on where things stand between her and the New England Patriots wide receiver.

Cardi B recently addressed fans at a Los Angeles concert on February 15th, making it clear that even though she and her child’s father are not currently together, she won’t tolerate others speaking negatively about him, according to videos posted online.

She then jumped into her song “Pretty & Petty.” 

Cardi B’s comments appeared to be a reaction to rapper Bia, who is featured in the song “Pretty & Petty.” Bia responded to a video of Cardi performing the track on February 12th, referencing the mothers of Stefon’s children.

Bia asked on social media if anyone knows of a person with more children by different mothers than the number of yards they’ve gained as a receiver. She claimed to know someone who fits that description.

Cardi B recently shared her perspective on her relationship with Stefon Diggs following reports of a split. These reports surfaced after she left the 2026 Super Bowl early on February 8th, just after rumors began circulating about their breakup after a year together. Neither Cardi nor Stefon publicly addressed the speculation at the time.

After the major sporting event, the 33-year-old—who shares 7-year-old Kulture, 4-year-old Wave, and 17-month-old Blossom with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Offset—and Stefon had stopped following each other on Instagram.

TopMob News contacted representatives for both Stefon and Cardi to ask about the breakup rumors, but they haven’t received a response.

Although it’s still unclear if Cardi and Stefon are together, Stefon had hinted in the past that he planned to propose.

When asked about a potential engagement, Stefon told reporters on February 2nd that it was ‘on the agenda,’ adding with a playful tone, ‘Maybe, right?’

He then quipped, referencing a Super Bowl ring, “I gotta get mine first.”

He was quick to acknowledge Cardi B’s encouragement before the Super Bowl, which the Seattle Seahawks won with a score of 29-13, earning them the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

He said he really appreciates her support, explaining that she’s an incredible woman. He knows it’s not always easy being there for him, admitting he can be a lot to handle. Instead of trying to downplay the buzz, the Grammy-winning musician and the athlete happily fueled speculation when they were seen together at an after-party following the 2025 Met Gala in May.

Model Aileen Lopera filed the suit in December 2024, claiming Stefon fathered her daughter, born in April 2025, according to court documents obtained by People magazine. Stefon has denied the allegations and is requesting a paternity test.

Cardi B then seemingly responded to the situation on social media.

In a post referencing Shirley Brown’s song “Woman to Woman,” where a woman confronts her partner’s mistress, Cardi said, “Hello, Barbara. This is Shirley.” She continued, “That’s your baby daddy, bh? That’s my baby daddy, too. Well what now? I don’t fking know. We’ll figure it out bh.”
