Cardi B is up—so don’t try to bring her down.
Cardi B addressed online criticism after she and her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, spent Christmas apart. Their new baby was with Cardi, while Diggs celebrated with his two other children, leading some people to question the arrangement.
In a video posted to X on December 29th, she pleaded with people to relax, saying, “Everyone needs to calm down.” She explained that she’d been receiving criticism for several days and felt it had become unnecessarily harsh. “I can’t fix the past or change what’s happened,” she said, adding, “I’ve already had a baby.”
She explained that, since she can’t change the fact that she and Stefon have a child together, they need to focus on the future. She said, “I don’t know what anyone expects me to do now, but we can only move forward.”
The rapper, known for her song “Up,” asked her fans for their support as she gets ready to tour in 2026. She explained that touring will be very busy and will require her to be away from her children – Kulture, age 7, Wave, age 4, and Blossom, 14 months – who she shares with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Offset.
She admitted she was incredibly stressed and really needed the support of her fans. She asked people to come to her tour, have a good time, and not bring negativity. She just wants to be accepted for who she is and feels like she’s already dealing with enough.
Despite everything, Cardi B still cares about her fans. She said she wants them to have a good year filled with health, money, and happiness, and asked they wish the same for her. She then added that she needs some space.

Even though Stefon wasn’t physically with Cardi and their son, he was still thinking about them constantly.
Offset shared a photo of Cardi B holding their son and jokingly wrote, “Miss y’all,” then added with a wink, “Don’t squeeze him so tight, you’ll make him soft!”

She tried to get the perfect holiday photo with her kids, but it didn’t quite go as planned—her photos show them crying, looking away from the camera, or distracted by their new presents.
