Carrie Underwood, a judge on American Idol, and her husband, hockey player Mike Fisher, attended the Nashville Predators game against the Montreal Canadiens at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on March 28th.
During the hockey game, 43-year-old Carrie showed her support for Mike’s old team by wearing a yellow Predators jersey with the number 12 – Mike’s retired playing number. The couple posed for a photo inside the arena that was shared on the team’s Instagram. Mike, 45, held up a small bobblehead of himself and Carrie, both wearing matching jerseys.
Carrie and Mike, who got married in 2010, seemed to have a great time on their recent date night. Carrie has also been sharing how much she loves living on their large farm in Tennessee with Mike and their two sons, Isaiah, 11, and Jacob, 7. She says the quiet, country life is a relaxing break from her work in Los Angeles.
She described a huge life change, going from growing up on a farm to performing on stage for large audiences and constantly traveling. As she explained on SiriusXM’s Front Row, she soon realized that the life of a performer wasn’t representative of everyday reality.
The singer of “Blown Away” said her career has been amazing, but she also pointed out that the lifestyle it brings isn’t genuine.

She explained that she really wants her home life to be completely different from what she’s experiencing now. They’ve already made that clear. She wants her kids to see her as a present parent – getting them ready for school, making breakfast, and packing their lunches.
And the Grammy winner’s hands-on approach to parenting extends to the family’s evening routine.
She said they usually eat dinner together at the table five nights a week, and she does most of the cooking. She joked that she wasn’t sure how good her cooking was, but everyone was well-fed.
