Due to sporting events, the BBC is changing its TV schedule tomorrow, Saturday February 14th, affecting the shows Gladiators and Casualty.
As a TV critic, I’ve been keeping an eye on the latest season of Gladiators – it’s the third one since the show came back – and you can usually catch it on Saturday evenings around 5:45pm. It airs on BBC One, but if you miss it, it’s also available on iPlayer.
But episodes 5 and 6 of the show won’t be airing at their usual time over the next two weekends.
The BBC has announced the air dates for Gladiators. It will be shown at 8pm on February 14th if the football match finishes within regular time. On February 21st, it will air at 7:15pm.
This weekend, the BBC will broadcast the FA Cup match between Aston Villa and Newcastle United from 5:45pm to 8pm. Next Saturday’s schedule will be different because the BBC will be showing the Wales versus Scotland rugby match from the Six Nations.

The popular medical drama Casualty, normally shown on BBC One and iPlayer at 8:30pm on Saturdays, will air a bit later tomorrow at 9:45pm.
The change to the Gladiators broadcast schedule happens at a key point in the season. Episode 5 will finish the last preliminary round, and episode 6 will kick off the quarter-finals.
This Saturday’s episode of Casualty will feature Jacob Masters facing a tough situation when police officer Ashley Sullivan mistakenly identifies his son, Blake, as a person of interest.
