Since it’s been a while since the first season aired, the nearly five-minute video will remind viewers of the key events they need to remember before diving into the new episodes.
When Does Frieren Season 2 Come Out on Crunchyroll?
Season 2 of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will be available to stream on Crunchyroll starting January 16th at 7:00 AM Pacific Time. This includes viewers in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS countries, and India – at the same time as the episodes air in Japan. Crunchyroll will also be releasing an English dub of the new season, just like they did with the first, though the exact date for the dub hasn’t been announced yet. Season 2 of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will be directed by Tomoya Kitagawa, replacing Keiichiro Saito who directed the first season. The character designs will now be led by Keisuke Kojima and Yuri Fujinaka, taking over from Reiko Nagasawa. Tomohiro Suzuki is returning to write the series composition, and Evan Call will once again compose the music. The new opening theme song, titled “lulu,” will be performed by MRS. GREEN APPLE.
What’s Special About Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End?
I’ve been really impressed with Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End – it’s easily one of the best fantasy anime I’ve seen recently. The first season especially gained momentum in its later episodes. The story centers around Frieren, a unique main character who’s revisiting places she traveled with her companions after they defeated a great evil. She’s now realizing how much time has passed for humans compared to her own lifespan, and she’s finally starting to come to terms with the loss of her friends and properly grieve.
As Frieren travels, she’s building relationships with new companions and discovering how magic is evolving around her. Viewers are also learning about this fascinating world, all while enjoying beautifully animated scenes. If you’re interested in watching the complete series, you can find it on Crunchyroll.
