Okay, so the story takes place in a really messed up, controlling America where everyone’s basically distracted by super violent TV. He’s gone even further than the first film in sticking to the source material, which I think is awesome.

In 2023, a movie continuing the story, titled ‘The Fallen Sun,’ was released on Netflix and in some theaters. While the movie made a few minor changes to what happened before, it was essentially a continuation of the series.
