“Arcane” Season 2 is arriving on Netflix in November and we now have both the date and the format of its release. During Netflix’s Geeked Week Live event last Thursday, it was announced that the final chapters of “Arcane” will be released on November 9th, divided into three acts. The first act starts on November 9th, the second debuts a week later on November 16th, and the third and final act will follow on November 23rd. For quite some time now, Netflix has been putting money into anime productions, which has resulted in some exceptional series coming to fruition. Shows such as “Devilman Crybaby” and “Delicious in Dungeon” are prime examples of this, and soon, we’ll have the opportunity to add “Sakamoto Days” to that list. The premiere is slated for January 2025, and with a fresh trailer recently released for this Shonen Jump series, it’s clear that the action-comedy genre in anime might just have its next big thing.

In 2025, the universe of Zack Snyder’s “Rebel Moon” is set to grow further, venturing into video games. Following two feature films and extended director’s cuts on Netflix, the “Rebel Moon” franchise is planning its next step – a video game titled “Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game“. This announcement was made during the Netflix Geeked Week 2024 presentation on Thursday night by Snyder himself.

Netflix pulled the (devil) trigger on the stylish first trailer for the Devil May Cry anime series from Adi Shankar (Castlevania and Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix), based on the Capcom video game created by Hideki Kamiya. “This guy, he’s something else. The way he moves. The hits he took. His name: Dante,” intones a voice over footage of the half-human, half-demon devil hunter for hire with his magic sword, Rebellion, and dual-wielded pistols, Ebony & Ivory.

Prepare yourself, as we’re nearly back to the realm of The Dreaming! During Netflix’s Geeked Week celebrations on Thursday evening, a sneak peek behind-the-scenes featurette for season 2 of The Sandman was unveiled. This video offers intriguing insights from the series’ cast and crew, along with quick glimpses of Loki (Freddie Fox), as well as some of the latest additions to The Endless: Esmé Creed-Miles portraying Delirium, Adrian Lester depicting Destiny, and Barry Sloane stepping into the role of The Prodigal (aka Destruction). In the coming season, The Sandman is set to adapt the storylines “Seasons of the Mist” and “Brief Lives.” This latest glimpse comes following the cancellation of the spinoff series, Dead Boy Detectives, mere weeks ago. At present, it remains uncertain whether characters from that series will play a role in season 2 of The Sandman.

3 years have passed since Netflix unveiled a glimpse of their Splinter Cell animated series to the public, which was first confirmed at the initial Geeked Week event in 2021. During this year’s Geeked Week (2024), we finally got the first teaser for the new series, now officially known as Splinter Cell: Deathwatch. The debut video clip of the show confirms that Liev Schreiber will voice Sam Fisher and that the storyline will fall within the timeline of the video games. You can watch the video below.
