The anime Jujutsu Kaisen is currently focusing on Yuji and his friends getting ready for the Culling Game tournament. First, though, they need to find a strong ally. Yuji and Megumi are searching for Kinji Hakari, a mysterious student who’s been mentioned briefly before. Yuta believes Hakari might even be more powerful than himself, and a preview for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 5 hints at his abilities.
A new graphic novel called The Objectivist, a dark and gritty vigilante story, is launching on Kickstarter soon. Created by Pires, Alex Diotto, and Luca Casalanguida, the campaign begins March 17th and will feature stunning cover art by Eisner Award-winning artist Jae Lee. Though it might not be as famous as martial arts classics like Enter the Dragon or Ip Man, or even some of Jackie Chan’s films, Kung Fu Hustle from 2004 is a fantastic movie. Created by Stephen Chow – he starred in, directed, produced, and co-wrote it – this Chinese film uniquely combines martial arts action with hilarious comedy, creating a truly brilliant gangster story. You can stream it on Hulu starting February 1st.

Capcom has released a new patch for Monster Hunter Wilds that should make the game run smoother on Steam. The update includes improvements to how the game uses your computer’s resources, reducing the strain on your system.
Players who break the rules in ARC Raiders will first be banned for 30 days. If they offend again, the ban will be extended to 60 days. A third offense will result in a permanent ban from the game. The developers also want players to know that this new system is still being put into place and isn’t fully active yet.
Taika Waititi recently told Screen Daily that his new film, Klara and the Sun, is expected to be released this year. While a specific date hasn’t been set, he says discussions with Sony are underway, and they’re considering a potential debut at film festivals.
Ten years ago, the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child first opened in London. J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, called it “the eighth story,” and it picks up right after the end of Deathly Hallows. The play follows Albus Severus Potter, Harry’s second son, during his first year at Hogwarts, and shows what’s happened with other favorite characters a decade later. The story is similar to It’s a Wonderful Life because it uses time travel to explore how different choices could have changed everything. When it first launched in the UK, The Cursed Child was very long—it was performed in two parts with a long break in between—but that’s now being changed.
While promoting his new horror film, Send Help, Sam Raimi spoke with Cinema Blend about Spider-Man 4. He clarified that they never auditioned actresses for villain roles. Raimi mentioned discussing the Vulture with John Malkovich, but the film ultimately didn’t move forward. This seems to dismiss long-standing rumors that either Black Cat or a new female villain called “Vulturess” would appear in the canceled sequel, despite previous hints to the contrary.
Jason Momoa is set to play Lobo, the alien bounty hunter known for his distinctive, almost spray-painted appearance. Momoa seems thrilled about the role, and in an interview with ScreenRant about his upcoming film with Dave Bautista, The Wrecking Crew, he expressed hope that he’ll be able to continue playing Lobo in future projects.
