The Entertainment Software Association reports that the typical gamer in 2025 will be 36 years old, and is likely to be female. The gaming community, once thought to be mostly male, is now much more representative of the overall U.S. population. Decades ago, the player base was heavily skewed towards men (about 70/30), but that’s no longer the case.
