Early concept art for the first season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters revealed plans for a battle between Godzilla and Kong, similar to the fights seen in Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. It’s unclear why this fight was ultimately removed from the show, but fans have always enjoyed seeing these two titans clash. Monarch focused on the history of the MonsterVerse, so the fight could have been a flashback to their 2021 battle or even an earlier confrontation. Although the second season of Monarch won’t feature a Godzilla vs. Kong fight, they’ll meet again on the big screen next year in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova. You can see the concept art below.

The game, available on both Xbox Series X and Xbox One, won Game of the Year at The Game Awards in 2021, surpassing titles like Deathloop, Metroid Dread, Resident Evil Village, Psychonauts 2, and Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart. It’s It Takes Two, developed by Hazelight Studios and published by EA. While EA is a well-known publisher, Hazelight Studios is a Swedish studio founded in 2014 by Josef Fares. They first gained recognition with A Way Out in 2018, followed by the critically acclaimed It Takes Two in 2021. Their latest game, Split Fiction, released in 2025, is also excellent, though it hasn’t reached the same level of popularity as It Takes Two.

Season 4 stood out because it had 18 episodes, each around 51 minutes long. While the show didn’t completely change its format, these episodes were significantly padded with extra content. This approach didn’t seem to resonate with viewers, as none of the 18 episodes rank among the top 30 most highly rated on IMDb.

In recent years, Marvel Studios has been introducing characters who could become the next Young Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Potential members include Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Stature (Cassie Lang), Ironheart (Riri Williams), America Chavez, Wiccan (Billy Maximoff), and Speed (Tommy Maximoff), who will reappear in the 2026 series VisionQuest. While rumors suggest these heroes will team up in Avengers: Doomsday, Marvel may be quietly building the foundation for a different Young Avengers team inspired by the comic books.

Now that the show has continued through spin-offs and people are revisiting old episodes, we’re left wondering about the fate of the characters who weren’t part of those continuations.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is the latest installment in the Wolfenstein series, continuing the story from Wolfenstein: New Order. A unique feature of the game is an arcade machine that plays a version of the original Wolfenstein 3D. While Wolfenstein 3D isn’t new, this version within The New Colossus offers a twist: you don’t play as B.J. Blazkowicz. Instead, you control Elite Hans, a Nazi version of the player character. This in-game version of the classic is significantly altered, making it feel like a completely new experience, and you can play through the entire game if you choose.

The Switch has been successful, and the new Switch 2 builds on that with a new generation of hardware, continuing Nintendo’s tradition of exclusive games. Since launching in June 2025, Nintendo has released several games only available on the Switch 2, and these aren’t just updated versions of older titles. Some examples include Mario Kart World, Kirby Air Riders, Donkey Kong Bananza, Fast Fusion, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, among others. These games provided plenty to play in 2025, but the upcoming releases planned for 2026 are a compelling reason for anyone considering buying the console.

A leak from October 2025 revealed potential details about the next Pokémon game, including its name, location, and director. Now, a newly registered website seems to support some of those claims. The Pokémon Company appears to have registered the domain pokemon.com/windwave, which could indicate that the next generation of Pokémon games—previously leaked as Pokémon Wind and Pokémon Wave—are indeed the official titles.

The biggest question fans are debating about the show is what happened to Eleven. The finale, “The Rightside Up,” initially seems to give a clear answer, but then hints at another possibility. The show leaves it up to the audience to decide if she survives, and Gaten Matarazzo’s thoughts on the matter might even influence how people interpret the ending.

Following the usual Marvel formula, the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day will introduce some new friends for Peter Parker. This time, he’ll be teaming up with the Punisher and the Hulk to fight any villains they encounter. However, not all of Peter’s problems can be solved with superpowers – especially when it comes to romance. A recent report from insider Daniel Ritchman suggests that MJ will have a new boyfriend in Brand New Day, played by Eman Esfandi, known for his role in Star Wars: Ahsoka.
