However, Ubisoft’s anti-cheat system attempted to detect and block suspicious transactions. During the outage, players experienced bizarre issues like being temporarily banned and unbanned, and the game’s notification system was flooded with humorous messages, including lyrics from the song “It Wasn’t Me” by Shaggy.
To finish the year, Atlus’s Kazuhisa Wada hinted at exciting news for Persona fans, especially with the series’ 30th anniversary coming up next year. He mentioned that 2026 will be the right time to reveal more about what’s planned for the future of Persona.
James Cameron seems willing to move on from the Avatar franchise if the latest film doesn’t do well at the box office. He told The Town that he’s been developing the idea for around 30 years, originally writing it in 1995. After initial disinterest and being told it was unrealistic, he put the project on hold for a decade before revisiting it seriously in 2005. He admits he’s okay with ending the series here, but currently, the film is profitable and the ideas for a fourth movie are too promising to ignore.
