When “Daredevil” debuted in 2014, it presented a markedly different tone compared to previous Marvel productions. Jonah Jameson, a fictional media mogul, to life in various Marvel films, starting with Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man and most recently in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Interestingly, co-creator of Spider-Man, Stan Lee, admitted to Simmons that he regretted not being offered the part himself, but was pleased with how Simmons portrayed the character.

The universe of “Watchmen” is set to be reborn in a fresh format, as the initial part of a two-part animated film adaptation debuts this week. Beyond the 1985 miniseries by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, “Watchmen” has expanded into something more substantial, giving rise to the recent comic sequel series “Doomsday Clock,” as well as an acclaimed “Watchmen” TV show in 2019. During an interview with ComicBook, director Brandon Vietti hinted at his interest in adapting “Doomsday Clock” or any of the “Before Watchmen” spinoff miniseries from the 2000s for the film’s creative team.

Earlier this year, Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver disclosed plans for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, initially slated to release in 2024. However, it appears that the launch timeline might be subject to a slight adjustment.
