Despite all the different ways Marvel’s X-Men have been presented, animated TV series still feel like the perfect fit. Their stories work best when they have time to develop over multiple episodes, and animation allows for amazing visual effects. There have been five different X-Men animated shows so far, and this looks at how they stack up against each other.
Even with all the negativity you might see online, we think 2025 has been a fantastic year for the PS5. The number of games released has been incredible – it’s easy to forget how many great titles came out, and many of them were truly exceptional.

One Piece is famous for giving its characters interesting backstories, but Sanji’s is arguably the most well-developed. Many fans consider him the best-written character in the series, though that’s always a matter of opinion. Still, dedicating the entire Whole Cake Island arc to his story not only deepened his character, but also provided a satisfying resolution to his personal struggles.
Spider is noticeably different from the Na’vi, but he deeply wants to be accepted into their community and fully participate in their traditions. Acceptance takes time, so he finds companionship in Kiri, another outsider – a Na’vi born uniquely from an Avatar. The Sully family welcomes Kiri, and she and Spider connect over their shared experience of being different. Their bond eventually blossoms into a romantic relationship, which fits well within the story’s narrative.
I watched as the siblings encountered Maru – though everyone called him Marulu – a Simurian who was working alongside the Jujutsu sorcerers as an inspector. Despite their different positions, they quickly became friends, all hoping for peace between their people. Sadly, things fell apart during talks with the sorcerer leaders when Maru’s twin brother, Cross, was killed. This pushed Dabura, the Simurian leader, to respond with force. As the fighting escalated, I began to understand just how formidable Maru really was.
Wow, these heroes are incredible! Seriously, they’ve come from the absolute worst places – like, straight out of the underworld – and climbed all the way to the top, to Mount Olympus. What really gets me is how their strength isn’t just about being gods or having divine power. It’s their sheer willpower and how much heart they have. Their human side is just as strong as their godly heritage, and that’s what makes them so inspiring!
