Just over a month following its 2023 debut, director Ji Won Choi confirmed that a sequel for the action Soulslike game was in development. As “Lies of P” hasn’t yet celebrated its first anniversary, it seems we won’t see this next installment for some time. However, with recent confirmation, we now have a clearer idea of what might be in store for us when it eventually arrives.
Following its successful run at the summer box office, amassing $261 million globally, horror enthusiasts can now stream “A Quiet Place: Day One” from their very own quiet homes. The cast includes Lupita Nyong’o (“Black Panther”) and Joseph Quinn (“Stranger Things”), with this New York-set prequel of the “Quiet Place” series exploring the first day of an alien invasion, offering a unique perspective on the arrival of sound-sensitive creatures (known as Death Angels) on Earth. This prequel takes place before the events of 2018’s and 2020’s “A Quiet Place” films, focusing on a different angle from the Abbott family.
