Following a brief sneak peek featuring Kaitlyn Dever portraying the contentious character Abby, along with various other scenes from the game including the ballroom, it has been confirmed that the series will debut in April on both HBO and HBO Max, consisting of a total of seven episodes.
Apart from the fresh seasonal event titled “Midnight Features”, the “Eternal Night Fall Battle Pass” and three novel maps for the Empire of Eternal Night (Sanctum Sanctorum, Midtown, and Central Park), the team-based PVP shooter will introduce a new game mode called “Doom Match” when Season 1 commences on January 10.

Instead of primarily focusing on why anime holds significance during its presentation, it also unveiled a fresh endeavor: Ghost of Tsushima Legends, a concept drawn from the ominous multiplayer fantasy mode within Sucker Punch’s game, jointly produced by Aniplex and Crunchyroll. This series is set to premiere in 2027.
At CES 2025, high-ranking executive Asad Qizilbash from PS Productions disclosed a collaboration with Columbia Pictures. The partnership aims to adapt Aloy’s origin tale for the big screen, but no casting decisions have been revealed as of yet.
