It wasn’t until March 2024 that Final Fantasy XIV finally made its way onto Xbox, a process that required significant effort by Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox. For years, he had expressed his desire to bring this MMORPG to the platform, but it wasn’t until then that it became a reality. It appears that Spencer’s diligence was not without reward, as this could pave the way for more games from Square Enix. In a recent interview with Eurogamer, Final Fantasy XIV’s director Naoki Yoshida elaborated on the challenges involved, primarily the small user base of Xbox in the Japanese market.

Tony Stark is transitioning from the Invulnerable Iron Man to the Impromptu Iron Man. Marvel Comics is hinting at a rough, fresh chapter for the armored Avenger, penned by award-winning journalist and novelist Spencer Ackerman (known for DC’s “Waller vs. Wildstorm”) in his debut with artist Julius Ohta (previously worked on Marvel’s “Alien”), set to commence during the Stark-Roxxon War, as depicted in October’s Iron Man #1. This year marks the 40th anniversary of James Cameron’s groundbreaking 1984 action film, The Terminator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and to celebrate, new Blu-ray versions are being released. Coincidentally, the debut of the Terminator: Zero anime on Netflix this week might also be related to the timing. Pre-orders for both a standard 4K Blu-ray and a Limited Edition Steelbook 4K Blu-ray have started, with the latter featuring some exceptional cover art.

Over the weekend of WWE SummerSlam, Jacob Fatu teamed up with his Bloodline comrade Tama Tonga against DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa), who were the current WWE Tag Team Champions at that time. This week, we got our best glimpse yet at the upcoming map for both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone, dubbed Area 99. Known as the origin of the widely recognized Nuketown map, this new map offers a variety of intriguing locations for players to discover. More details about these interesting spots were unveiled during the recent Call of Duty NEXT event. Additionally, it was confirmed that Verdansk will return to Warzone next year.
