1999 marked the debut of Nintendo’s game Donkey Kong 64 for the N64 console. Despite boasting a blend of strong and weak aspects, one particular low point was the DK Rap. This tune served as an introduction to the game’s five playable characters and unfortunately, it became a running joke. Over the years, composer Grant Kirkhope has often poked fun at this track. However, recently, Kirkhope teamed up with rapper Substantial for a remix of the song. In this modern rendition, Substantial takes over from original singer George Andreas, while Kirkhope strums his guitar. The outcome is notably improved compared to the version featured in Donkey Kong 64!

On November 10, 2024, she announced via her X account (formerly Twitter) that she would transition to freelance work, focusing on studying and improving her art and writing skills. In her statement, Okumura expressed her desire to explore different creative avenues and rejoin Sanrio in the future with enhanced abilities. She shared her gratitude for the years spent developing characters alongside fans, cherishing each memory as a valuable treasure.

As we inch closer to the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Paramount unveils a fresh poster that’s a real treat for fans! This eye-catching artwork showcases the primary characters, including our speedy hero Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and the ever-scheming Dr. Robotnik. What sets this poster apart is the sneak peek at two exciting new additions: Shadow and Gerald Robotnik. These characters are expected to play pivotal roles in the sequel. Interestingly, Shadow makes a double appearance on the poster – towering ominously over the cast at the top, and reappearing at the bottom as he rides his Dark Rider motorcycle. IO Interactive’s “Hitman World of Assassination” for PlayStation VR2 has been moved from its planned release this December to March 27th, 2025. The developer shared in a recent blog post that this change didn’t come easily.

According to a trusted source, there are rumors that a remastered version of the 2016 game “Dark Souls 3” is being worked on by the developers at FromSoftware. Following the release of “Dark Souls 3”, FromSoftware created “Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice” in 2019 and “Elden Ring” in 2022. After a decade since their last work on the Dark Souls franchise, it appears that FromSoftware might be planning to revisit the series with a new remastered version of its latest installment.
