Leon Kennedy is returning to the main Resident Evil series after a decade-long absence, last appearing in 2012’s Resident Evil 6. He’ll be a key character in Resident Evil Requiem, serving as one of the game’s two protagonists. The game will focus on Grace Ashcroft’s terrifying experiences, similar to the last two Resident Evil titles, while Leon will provide the high-octane, action-packed gameplay fans expect. Warlock is a new third-person action-adventure game set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons, promising a magical experience filled with swords and spells. Players will take on the role of Kaatri, a character brought to life by actress Tricia Helfer, who embodies the powerful Warlock class from the tabletop role-playing game. While details are currently limited, the developers at Invoke Studios plan to release the game in 2027, with a full gameplay reveal expected in the summer of 2026.

In Exodus, you’re at the heart of a grand sci-fi story where your choices truly matter. You play as Jun, and the decisions you make will impact not only her journey, but the future of planets and even entire galaxies. The game focuses on surviving the destruction of Jun’s home world and potentially saving the galaxy, with your moral choices and alliances having lasting consequences that shape who Jun becomes.

The first trailer for Control Resonant was shown at The Game Awards. While it shares the same visually striking style as the original Control, Resonant largely breaks new ground. This time, players will control Dylan Faden, brother of Jesse Faden, the protagonist of the first game. Dylan wakes up from a coma – the one he fell into at the end of the original – only to discover Jesse has disappeared. Armed with a new weapon called the Aberrant, he sets out to find her and confront a rising global threat.

Jonathan Blow, founder of Thekla and the lead designer of Order of the Sinking Star, describes the game as his most ambitious and collaborative project yet. In a recent announcement, he explained that the game is the result of many designers combining their ideas to create a puzzle experience that’s larger and more complex than anything they’ve made before. Blow believes they’ve truly pushed the boundaries of the puzzle adventure genre, and he’s excited to share more details as the 2026 launch approaches. The game features design work from a talented team including Alan Hazelden (A Monster’s Expedition), Sean Barrett (Promesst), Jonah Ostroff (Heroes of Sokoban), Zach Polansky (Enigmash), Patrick Traynor (Patrick’s Parabox), Marc ten Bosch (Miegakure), and others.

Bruce Straley, founder of Wildflower Interactive, explained in a press release that the studio was founded on a passion for creative exploration and collaboration, with a goal of redefining what video games can offer players. Their new game, Coven of the Chicken Foot, reflects this by combining the charm of classic games with innovative storytelling and gameplay. Straley expressed his pride in the team’s work and excitement for players to experience the unique world and characters they’ve created.
