LucasArts was responsible for many of the most beloved Star Wars games, but Disney later shut it down and created Lucasfilm Games. While Electronic Arts and Disney Interactive Studios have since made some great Star Wars games, they aren’t part of the original LucasArts collection. This means popular titles like Jedi Survivor and Fallen Order aren’t included. We looked back at the many Star Wars games LucasArts released between 1990 and 2021 and picked out the ten best.

A new trailer for the Supergirl movie is expected to be released later this week, according to a report by Daniel Richtman (via Comic Book Movie). The trailer will debut at a press event today, December 7th, and will then be published online this Thursday, December 11th – following the same release strategy as last year’s first Superman trailer.

He can never truly escape this cycle, even if it takes years to complete, but it’s important to note that this ‘normal’ isn’t fixed in time. Over the decades, it’s subtly changed to reflect modern interpretations of the character, sometimes for the better, sometimes not. Today, we’ll be looking at ten of the worst changes to Spider-Man’s core situation throughout his history, and whether he might be better off sticking with what he knows.

Several movies from the Madagascar series are now available to stream on Prime Video. The films follow Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the hippo – four zoo animals who unexpectedly end up on the island of Madagascar after escaping from captivity. Madagascar, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, and the spin-off Penguins of Madagascar became available on December 1st. However, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, the last movie in the main series, is not currently included.

While uncommon, The X-Files does have a handful of holiday episodes. In fact, the entire series only features two episodes specifically centered around Christmas. Surprisingly, it wasn’t until the fifth season – 28 years ago today – that The X-Files acknowledged the holiday with the episode “Christmas Carol.”

Many classic sci-fi films tried to guess what the future would be like. While not all of those predictions came true, some were surprisingly accurate. With the rise of AI like ChatGPT, the films’ predictions about artificial intelligence feel particularly relevant, but there are numerous other examples of science fiction that seemed to anticipate the future.

A major draw of owning Warner Bros. Discovery is its valuable collection of popular franchises. HBO Max is currently developing a Harry Potter TV series, and Netflix would likely be very interested in having some control over its direction and the future of the Wizarding World. However, online discussions are currently dominated by another topic: the Snyderverse. While it seems unlikely that reviving Zack Snyder’s DC superhero franchise is a top priority for Netflix, it could actually be a smart move, allowing them to appeal to fans and expand their content offerings.
