The updated version of Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars, called Reforged, became available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (via Steam) on September 19, 2024. It was then released on Nintendo Switch on November 7, 2024.

A recent update confirmed that Duo matchmaking was quietly turned on earlier this week. Normally, the game matches solo players with other solos and squads with squads. However, the new system first tries to pair up Duos before looking for Trios. More testing is still needed to ensure it works smoothly.
