Currently, The Running Man has a 63% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 65 reviews. This score keeps director Edgar Wright’s streak of “Fresh” films alive – he’s had positive reviews for every movie since 2004’s Shaun of the Dead. However, it’s his lowest-rated King adaptation so far in 2025. Other King films he’s directed – The Monkey (77%), The Life of Chuck (80%), and The Long Walk (88%) – have all been certified Fresh. The Running Man also scores lower than Wright’s Last Night in Soho (75%), making it his lowest-rated film on Rotten Tomatoes overall.

The new Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution film not only revisits the events of the Shibuya Incident, but also kicks off Season 3 with the first two episodes adapting the Extermination Arc from the manga. This arc centers around Yuta Okkotsu – who has returned to Japan, seemingly as a foe – alongside Yuji Itadori, Choso, and a captivating new villain. While early reactions to these episodes have been largely positive, some viewers are worried about the speed at which the story is unfolding, a concern that hasn’t gotten enough attention.

The crossover between Codename: Kids Next Door and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy was a real highlight for Cartoon Network in the 2000s. The Grim Adventures of the KND, which first aired on November 11, 2007—18 years ago today—successfully combined the worlds of both shows. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to watch now, as both series have been taken off streaming platforms.

Starting November 4th, both seasons of the 1970s comedy Minx are available to stream on Netflix. The show follows a young feminist who teams up with a struggling publisher to create the first erotic magazine aimed at women. Originally developed as an HBO Max original and debuting in 2022, Minx quickly gained critical acclaim. While HBO renewed the show for a second season, it was unexpectedly canceled mid-production. Luckily, Starz picked up the series, releasing Season 2 in July 2023. However, Minx was canceled again in 2024, this time for good.

The presentation, lasting a little over 40 minutes, featured major updates for several games. These included a significant update for Gran Turismo 7, new details about Monster Hunter Wilds, and the latest news on Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. Attendees also learned about a new Elden Ring expansion called Nightreign, and a more affordable version of the standard PS5 that will be available in Japan.

The game remake was originally announced in September, and the latest trailer confirms it will center on the story of twin sisters, Mio and Mayu Amakura. They return to a familiar forest near Minakami and stumble upon a deserted village. They soon realize the village is haunted, and their only chance of survival lies with a strange device called the Camera Obscura.

The game features updated graphics that create a beautiful, miniature world effect. While the developers are staying true to the original game, they’re adding a brand new ending that will reflect the decisions you make while playing – a great reason to play through it again!

Tatsuki Fujimoto’s early short stories have been compiled into a two-part collection called Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man. Recently, it was announced these stories would be adapted into an animated anthology series, Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26, which is now available on Amazon Prime. As expected from the creator of Chainsaw Man, the series is fantastic.

If you didn’t play the first Sacred game, you might not know Sacred 2. The original game took place 2,000 years before Sacred 2‘s story. Players could choose one of seven character classes and experience the game through either of two different campaigns, playing alone, with a friend locally, or online with others.

Captain America has a long and impressive history filled with fantastic stories. Legendary comic book creators – including Jack Kirby, Mark Gruenwald, and Ed Brubaker – have all contributed to the character’s adventures. Like the nation it represents, Captain America has evolved over time, and the best stories reflect that change. The current series is particularly strong, and many believe it has the potential to be the best Captain America run ever written.
