Although there’s been no official confirmation yet, a well-known anime and manga news source on X (formerly Twitter), @MangaMoguraRE, reported that a new website domain related to the anime series has been registered. This often means an announcement is coming within the next month. We’ll learn more details about a potential anime adaptation later, but news could arrive before the end of the year. It’s rare for a series that came out over 20 years ago to get an anime, but The Drops of God is unique and deserves wider attention.

2025 has been a year of changes for Dungeons & Dragons. If you look at the new adventure books available on D&D Beyond, a clear pattern emerges. Recent releases like Dragon Delves, Heroes of the Borderlands, and Adventures in Faerun are more like collections of smaller adventures. We haven’t seen a full, traditional campaign book since Vecna: Eve of Ruin in May 2024. This move towards shorter adventure collections instead of longer campaigns has been happening for a while, and it does have some downsides. However, I’m surprisingly okay with this new approach.

Duke Thomas first appeared as a young, unnamed character connected to Bruce Wayne in Batman #21. Created by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, he represented a fresh direction for the Batman storyline. The story reveals that Duke’s family once helped Bruce Wayne after the Riddler caused a hurricane in Gotham, and Duke himself was already preparing to fight the Riddler. In Batman: Endgame, Duke and his family were kidnapped by the Joker due to their connection with Bruce. Although Batman rescued Duke, his parents were left behind after being infected by a Joker-created disease. Duke then entered foster care, and later joined a group called We Are Robin, supported by Alfred Pennyworth while Batman was away, to protect Gotham. Eventually, Bruce Wayne offered to train Duke, not as a Robin, but as a completely new type of hero.

The Alien series began with Ridley Scott’s original film in 1979, and was later joined by John McTiernan’s Predator in 1987. Although the two franchises didn’t officially meet until 2004 with Alien vs. Predator, and its 2007 sequel, those crossover films introduced storylines and changes that many fans disliked. The Alien series has since moved away from those films, and later Predator movies have also ignored them. However, it looks like we might finally get the crossover fans have been hoping for in the near future.

Nintendo and Sega have revealed that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be available on the Switch 2 starting December 4th, 2025. While it’s coming to Switch 2 a few months after its release on other systems, fans will appreciate having it just in time for the holidays, especially on a console expected to be very popular this year.

GamesRadar noticed a listing on Gameflip for a Burletta Blueprint, which is strangely labeled as a Wolfpack Blueprint. It’s a bit confusing, but the price is even more surprising – $49.99, which is roughly $10 more than the cost of the game itself. To complete the trade, players need to team up, start an expedition, and then the seller will drop the item for the buyer.

The manga recently revealed that Donovan’s isolation stems from his telepathic abilities, a surprise twist that links him to Anya in an unexpected way. This information came out in January, but we still don’t know the full story. The manga also hasn’t explained why Donovan’s wife, Melinda, thinks he’s an alien. After releasing part of Chapter 123 last week in September, the manga is currently on break, and the story is shifting focus. It will likely be several months before we learn more about Donovan’s history.
