Both the original 1988 film Child’s Play and its 2019 remake are now available to stream on Prime Video, starting November 1st. Both movies feature Chucky, a killer doll who goes on a violent spree. The first film, directed by Tom Holland and featuring Brad Dourif as Chucky’s voice, launched a hugely successful horror franchise and is a classic of 1980s slasher films. The 2019 remake, directed by Lars Klevberg, updated the story with Mark Hamill providing the voice for the frightening doll.
During a recent livestream, John Junyszek, a senior community manager, announced that the team is shifting its focus to a new game based on the original Halo: Combat Evolved. He explained that their next big update for Halo Infinite will be the final major content release as they dedicate more time and resources to this new project.
Just so you know, when I’m ranking these games, I’m only looking at the main Soulcalibur titles – the core games that really define the series. That means you won’t see stuff like Soulcalibur: Legends on the Wii or Soulcalibur: Lost Swords in my list. The story follows Dek, who, after meeting Thia on the dangerous planet Genna, unexpectedly discovers a new group he belongs to. In addition to encountering a human created in a lab, Dek also finds a young Kalisk – the creature he’s been searching for to restore his honor. This baby Kalisk, nicknamed “Bud,” joins Dek and Thia, forming a team of three. Together, they fight against the Weyland-Utani, synthetic beings who want to capture a Kalisk and study its ability to heal.
Okay, so when I think of Hyrule Warriors, all I picture is just absolutely destroying tons of enemies – and then trying to destroy even more to get that kill counter as high as possible! You’d think a story and cool combat wouldn’t always go hand-in-hand, but there’s something really satisfying about taking down huge waves of monsters with crazy, over-the-top attacks. That’s definitely how I feel about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, which is coming out on November 6th for Nintendo Switch 2.
