Pokemon Go’s Latest Event Marks A Big Milestone In The Game’s 9 Year History

It’s been several years since the ninth generation of Pokémon games came out, and we still don’t know when the tenth generation will be added to Pokémon Go. This means the number of Pokémon from newer generations that haven’t been released in the mobile game is getting smaller. While there are still a few Pokémon missing that might surprise players, the list is shrinking. With the recent additions during the Go Wild Area 2025 event, Pokémon Go now includes 926 out of a total of 1025 Pokémon. As of November 7th, that leaves fewer than 100 Pokémon that aren’t yet available in the game.
