Pluribus Review: Breaking Bad’s Creator’s New Series Is an Essential Slow-Burning Sci-Fi Drama

I’m really intrigued by this new series, Pluribus. From the trailers, it looks like it centers around Carol, played by Rhea Seehorn, a writer who’s going through a tough time. She ends up in this strange version of the apocalypse – but it’s not what you’d expect. Instead of everything falling apart with destruction, this event actually connects everyone on Earth through a single, shared consciousness. It’s like humanity becomes one being, losing all the things that usually divide us. The really interesting part is that Carol is somehow immune to this connection, so she’s left watching as the world she knows changes completely. It sounds like a really thought-provoking concept!

DC’s New Batman ’89 Sequel Kills One Idea About Tim Burton’s Batman Movie Universe

I’m really excited about the new Batman novel, Batman: Revolution! It came out last month and continues the story from Batman: Resurrection which was published in 2024. Both books are set in the same world as Tim Burton’s Batman films – it’s like they’re picking up where Batman ’89 left off. This new book starts after Batman defeated Karlo Babić and Hugo Strange, and now Gotham is facing a new threat: Norman Pinkus is challenging Batman in a battle of intelligence, and the fate of the city hangs in the balance. We finally get a full introduction to a new Riddler, but it’s made very clear this isn’t the same Riddler from Batman Forever – which makes me think those Schumacher movies aren’t actually connected to Burton’s films at all.

Physical Edition at Fault Again for the Second Terminator 2D Delay

We initially experienced a delay due to parts needed for the physical game, but those parts have now arrived with the development team. Now, it takes time to assemble the boxed copies, which unfortunately pushes back the release of all versions – both physical and digital – to December 12th, 2025.

MARVEL SNAP: Content Creators & Top-Tier Players Discuss Golden Gauntlet Strategy & Sleeper Decks

Recent updates to the game, including changes to how certain strategies work and the launch of the new “Arachnid Anarchy” season pass with its emphasis on Move cards, have created a dynamic playing field. Timothee Chalamet’s Biggest Non-Sci-Fi Movie Just Landed on Netflix (And It’s Better Than It Has Any Right to Be)

Okay, so good news for anyone who missed it in theaters – Wonka is now streaming on Netflix as of November 1st! Paul King directs this really charming musical fantasy, and Timothée Chalamet is fantastic as a young Willy Wonka, showing us how he got his start. It’s a prequel to the classic Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, based of course on Roald Dahl’s original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The story follows Wonka as he arrives in Europe with basically nothing but a ton of ambition and a dream to build his chocolate empire. It’s a lot of fun, and the supporting cast – including Hugh Grant, Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, and Matt Lucas – are all great too.
