Bandai Namco’s RPG Tales of Xillia is back in 2025 as Tales of Xillia Remastered, available on the PlayStation Store for $39.99. However, players with a PS5 Pro won’t find any special improvements for the upgraded console.
With the complex storylines of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s recent “Multiverse Saga,” many fans believe the upcoming Secret Wars movie will essentially restart the franchise, changing things up and potentially recasting actors. This creates a perfect chance to introduce a new Black Panther – perhaps a younger version of T’Challa from another universe. Another possibility is seeing Damson Idris take on the role of T’Challa II, the young boy presented as the new king and Nakia’s son in Wakanda Forever. Whether it’s through a time jump or alternate timelines, Idris could play T’Challa as he enters adulthood and takes on the responsibilities of being a prince.
As a huge Doctor Who fan, I was really surprised to hear Disney pulled the plug on the show. Apparently, according to sources who know what’s going on, there were a couple of big issues. One of them, surprisingly, wasn’t the initial reaction to Ncuti Gatwa’s casting. It wasn’t about his performance at all, but more about what the role requires beyond acting. They said you really have to become the face of the show, and truly be that generation’s Doctor – something Matt Smith and David Tennant just naturally did. The source hinted that Ncuti didn’t fully step into that ambassador role and wasn’t actively promoting the show as much as they needed him to.

Capcom announced in their recent “Road to Requiem” video that they’ll reveal more about Resident Evil Requiem during a dedicated Resident Evil Showcase. While a specific date hasn’t been set, the event is planned for early 2026. This likely means Capcom doesn’t have any significant announcements planned for the remainder of 2025, unless something unexpected happens at an event like The Game Awards.
Osgood Perkins’ film The Monkey, based on Stephen King’s 1980 novel, became available to stream on Kanopy on October 31st. Just eight months after its release in theaters, the movie is now available for free streaming, though you’ll need a library card to sign up for Kanopy. The film stars Theo James as twin brothers, Hal and Bill, whose lives are thrown into chaos when they find a strange wind-up monkey in their attic, leading to a series of terrifying deaths.
The Alien franchise has expanded beyond the original films to include comics, video games, toys, and TV shows. While the xenomorphs in the movies have remained largely consistent in appearance, these creatures have taken on many different forms in other media. Interestingly, most of these unique xenomorph variations haven’t appeared in the films themselves. To stay fresh and exciting, the Alien movies should embrace these evolved designs and introduce them to the big screen.
