After a year of waiting, Pokemon TCG Pocket has finally explained what the Advance Ticket is for. DeNA announced on the game’s official X account that the ticket enters players into a drawing for Pack Hourglasses. Surprisingly, even players who got the ticket recently will be included in the raffle, leading many to wonder if it had any real purpose. The answer seems to be… sort of.
DC Comics has a history of trying to refresh its storylines, and some of those attempts, like Crisis on Infinite Earths, have been huge successes. But not all of them work out. There have been several times when DC tried to boost interest in its characters but fell short. Here are ten DC relaunches that unfortunately didn’t live up to their potential, wasting some truly iconic characters.

The new trailer, titled “Hide to Survive,” showcases the character of Thomas Cross and how he handles the emergencies faced by the crew of the Hope-01 shuttle. It also reveals that a major focus of the Aphelion story will be Ariane and Thomas’s efforts to reunite after the Hope-01 crashes on the planet Persephone, separating them.
The new Marvel Legends Spider-Man wave features six figures with designs inspired by the comics, each including character-specific accessories. So far, details have only been released for Spider-Man 2099 and Cardiac, which were first shown at New York Comic Con. Both figures cost $27.99 and come with extras: Spider-Man includes two “thwip” hands, two wall-crawling hands, and a damaged cape, while Cardiac comes with two alternate hands, a Beta staff, and two blast effects. You can pre-order this wave starting today, October 29th, at 10am Pacific Time / 1pm Eastern Time, exclusively at Entertainment Earth. It may also become available on Amazon around the same time.
The new Halloween episode of South Park won’t air tonight on Comedy Central as originally planned. Instead, it will premiere on October 31st at 10 PM Eastern time. Titled “The Woman in the Hat,” the episode involves a haunting at the White House and Stan’s concerns about the show becoming too focused on politics. The story centers on a disruptive spirit in the East Wing and follows recent episodes where creators Trey Parker and Stone have openly addressed political issues. It will be interesting to see how this ghost affects President Trump and even Satan, especially considering the recent renovations at the White House that have been widely reported.
I’ve noticed things have gotten a bit tricky for One Piece recently. The story is becoming more complex, and the creators are really pushing themselves to make certain parts incredibly detailed. After a six-month delay – a first for the series – the Egghead Arc will wrap up this year. Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, One Piece is switching to a seasonal release schedule, and they’re aiming for a much closer adaptation of the manga. Hopefully, that means no more filler episodes or extended breaks!
“Age of Revelation” is struggling to gain traction, and early impressions suggest it’s not succeeding. While the core idea is somewhat interesting and there are moments of fun, it largely retreads familiar ground from previous X-Men stories. As someone who enjoyed both “Age of Apocalypse” and the non-mutant hero focus of X-Universe, I found X-Vengers particularly engaging. It features a compelling Avengers lineup, delivers exposition smoothly, and boasts exciting action, culminating in a surprising twist that launches the main storyline.
