Despite a few flaws and moments of feeling overcrowded, the game successfully blends shooting action with RPG elements, creating a captivating experience for fans of science fiction. The story isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s cleverly written and playfully explores relatable issues through a sci-fi lens. When it’s at its peak, The Outer Worlds 2 is delightful, interesting, and provides a good challenge – and even when it falters, it’s still an enjoyable and immersive game worth playing.

Following the exciting but unresolved ending of the Hashira Training Arc, the Infinity Castle trilogy was revealed, with the first film launching on July 18, 2025. The movie quickly became available worldwide, kicking off the ultimate battle against the demons. Our heroes, the Demon Slayers, find themselves stuck in a never-ending maze filled with all kinds of demons, including the powerful Upper Moons, who are determined to destroy them. Although the second part of the trilogy isn’t coming out for a while, the anime has just announced a fourth team-up with Monster Strike and released a brand new image from Infinity Castle.

I was really struck by a recent conversation about the use of AI in filmmaking. Actor Stephen O’Leary, who was in Marty Supreme, suggested that filmmakers could save a ton of money by using AI to create background actors instead of hiring real people. It sparked a debate online, and Marvel’s Simu Liu rightfully called him out on it. Liu pointed out that it’s unfair to target the extras, who are already earning a modest wage, instead of addressing the high salaries of those in leading roles. Filmmaker Steven DeKnight agreed, saying O’Leary’s comments were pretty insensitive and out of touch.

Taylor Sheridan’s popular show, Landman, is returning for a second season on November 16th. The new season will premiere a few weeks after Paramount+ releases a new boxing film called The Cut, and a comedy series featuring Tracey Morgan.

As a longtime gamer, some cancellations just hurt. They send a shock through the whole community, reminding you how tough and unpredictable this industry can be. It’s weird, though – even the biggest, most talked-about cancellations eventually fade away. The articles get old, people stop mentioning them, and the excitement just…dies. But I always find myself thinking about what could have been, you know? That feeling of potential, like a really cool idea that never got to shine. Here are three games that caused a huge stir when they were announced, but have sadly been mostly forgotten over time.

James Gunn and Peter Safran, the heads of DC Studios, haven’t announced who will play the new Batman in the DC Universe, although the character briefly appeared in the animated series Creature Commandos. Recently, director Zack Snyder shared a photo of Ben Affleck in his Batman costume, including the brown trench coat from the “Knightmare” sequence in his director’s cut of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Seeing the photo makes me wish Affleck had gotten the chance to star in his own Batman movie, which was originally planned but never made.

For Marvel’s Age of Revelation to be a hit, it’s crucial to sidestep some significant issues that could derail the X-Men series right from the beginning.

A poor adaptation can’t actually diminish the original source material, especially if the comic book version of a character remains well-regarded. However, sometimes the on-screen portrayal of a character, particularly those connected to the Hulk, feels drastically different from what fans expect. Worse still, these appearances can feel forced, simply serving a purpose within the broader universe without respecting the character’s established personality and motivations.
