The stage version of the movie Elf on Broadway, which is based on the film, significantly modifies Will Ferrell’s holiday masterpiece. The revamped 2003 film, titled Elf: The Musical, now playing at New York City’s Marquis Theatre until January 4, 2025, presents a multitude of changes that give the traditional tale a new spin for the stage. Ever since “Elf” graced our screens in 2003, there’s been no end to the excitement in Tinseltown! This timeless Christmas comedy, masterfully directed by Jon Favreau and featuring the hilarious Will Ferrell, has become a cherished holiday classic. In “Elf”, Buddy, a human raised as an elf at the North Pole (played by Ferrell), sets off on a journey to New York City to finally meet his biological father. However, Buddy’s reunion with Walter Hobbs (James Caan) — a grumpy executive vice president of a children’s book publishing company — doesn’t go smoothly, as Walter initially refuses to embrace the chance to bond with his son.

Over the past year, Total Nonstop Action (TNA) has been causing quite a stir, but its most recent twist during tonight’s Final Resolution pay-per-view could be one of its biggest surprises yet. Earlier today, whispers began to circulate about a significant comeback in TNA, but things took an unexpected turn tonight when the contentious and previous TNA World Champion, Tessa Blanchard, dramatically returned to TNA by assaulting Jordynne Grace.
