The Greatest Batman Game of All Time Released 14 Years Ago, and It Still Hasn’t Been Topped

When Arkham Asylum first launched, it seemed unbeatable – it had a fantastic story, impressive graphics, smart level design, and a revolutionary combat system that inspired countless other games. But then, in 2011, Rocksteady followed it up with Batman: Arkham City, which took everything that made the first game great and made it even better. Released on October 18, 2011, Arkham City is still considered one of the best action games of the 21st century. It perfected the formula established by Arkham Asylum, and to this day, no game has truly surpassed it, cementing its place as the highlight of Rocksteady’s Batman series.

Everything Coming to Netflix This Week (October 20th)

I’m really excited about what’s coming to Netflix this week! It’s going to be packed with new shows and some favorites returning. I’m especially looking forward to Tuesday, when the second season of *The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon* finally drops.

This 3-Season Netflix Series Put a Great Twist on the Zombie Genre & Was Cancelled Way Too Soon

The Netflix series *Santa Clarita Diet* was known for its over-the-top comedy, but what really set it apart was how it presented incredibly strange events as if they were completely normal. The show centers on Sheila (Drew Barrymore) and Joel Hammond (Timothy Olyphant), a typical couple and real estate agents, whose lives are turned upside down when Sheila unexpectedly dies… and then comes back with a craving for human meat. Instead of becoming a dark, survival-focused story, the show took a different approach. Sheila still has to juggle work, parenting, and her marriage, all while dealing with her unusual new appetite. Joel quickly becomes an accomplice, helping her cover up the evidence and maintain a normal facade as their relationship descends into chaos. It’s a darkly funny and accurate portrayal of everyday couple life, except ‘getting through the day’ involves a lot more… blood.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A Has the Best Story of Any Pokemon Game in History (and I’ve Played Them All)

Pokemon games have had some good storylines over the years. For example, the character of N in *Black and White* was surprisingly complex and showed the series could tackle more serious topics. *Sun and Moon* also improved by creating more fully realized characters, which had been a weakness in older games. However, *Legends: Z-A* truly excels, combining a complicated plot with well-developed characters to deliver one of the best stories in any Pokemon game. Be warned: the following will contain some vague spoilers for the ending of *Legends: Z-A*.

Netflix’s Top Action Shonen Anime Live-Action Could Be the Next Big Thing

With summer ending, the popular series revealed a live-action movie is coming out in Japan at the end of Golden Week in 2026. While a release date for North America hasn’t been announced yet, the first trailer impressed fans. A recent second trailer, introducing the character Shin, suggests the *Sakamoto Days* live-action film is on track to be a major success, largely because it’s staying true to the original story.

A God Of War: Ragnarok Lead Has Advice For The AAA-Gaming Industry That Can’t Be Ignored

Some creators of well-known games, including Meghan Morgan Juinio, a producer on *God of War Ragnarok*, are thinking about this issue and sharing their thoughts on the industry. With her experience on the popular *God of War* series, she’s highlighted a significant problem: players are starting to feel tired of huge, blockbuster games, and she believes major studios need to address this.

3 Tales From The Crypt Episodes Are Actually Still Scary Decades On

Even episodes with comedic moments were considered for this list. However, the truly frightening episodes prioritized scares over humor. Episodes that narrowly missed inclusion were “Collection Completed” from Season 1, “The Ventriloquist’s Dummy” from Season 2, “Top Billing” from Season 3, and “Forever Ambergris” from Season 5.
