A24’s latest hit, *Bring Her Back*, is a truly frightening film centered on grieving siblings, Andy and Piper. Directors Danny and Michael Phillipou don’t hold back, creating a horror movie that’s deeply unsettling and emotionally impactful. One critic described it as more than just scary-it’s an experience that stays with you. The *New York Times* praised the directors, suggesting they aim to evoke not only fear, but also genuine heartbreak.

Valentina Allegra de Fontaine purchased Avengers Tower and converted it into the Watchtower, establishing it as a headquarters for Robert Reynolds, also known as the Sentry (played by Lewis Pullman) – a hero she essentially created. Before it was public knowledge that Valentina had bought the tower, fans speculated about who might move in, and some of those guesses were more exciting than the actual reveal. Popular theories included the Fantastic Four turning it into a new Baxter Building, Doctor Doom establishing an embassy for Latveria, or Spider-Man’s Mister Negative taking control, and those were considered the most interesting possibilities.

I was really surprised to learn that this game wasn’t initially designed for the new Switch! Apparently, when the development started, the Switch 2 hadn’t even been announced yet. Producer Masato Kumazawa told IGN they only started exploring the possibility *after* Nintendo revealed the new console. They began testing and developing for it, and everyone thought it would be amazing to bring *Resident Evil* to that platform. It’s cool to hear how they adapted to the new hardware!

The final episode of *Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus* recently aired, along with the summer anime schedule wrap-up. However, a big surprise was also revealed: the series won’t continue with a new season. Instead, a new movie, *Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend*, is planned for release next year. The horror movie *The Devil Inside*, known for its shocking ending and controversial marketing, is still generating discussion years after its 2012 release. Now streaming on Paramount+ since September 1st, the film-directed by William Brent Bell-follows a woman investigating the disturbing events surrounding her mother, who was accused of killing three people while seemingly possessed two decades earlier. It received a very low 6% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

I was really happy to see how these games connected to each other. It was great to watch the characters develop and see storylines properly resolved. Unlike many other series where characters rarely reappear, *The Wind Waker*, *Phantom Hourglass*, and *Spirit Tracks* offered a strong sense of continuity, and I still enjoy them for that reason.

This week also brings new releases like *Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2* on Switch, *UNYIELDER* for PC, and an early access version of *Genokids* for PC.

Putting aside talk about his role as Daredevil, Damian Lillard recently told an audience at LACC that he’s hoping James Gunn will consider him for a future project. He joked that he’s been waiting for the call and feels like the invitation might have gotten lost in the mail.

Patrick Stewart has already been in a Marvel project, but most of his former colleagues from the X-Men haven’t. With Marvel planning to restart the X-Men series, this could be their final opportunity to play superheroes. However, a few of the mutants from the *Doomsday* movie might get another chance because they’re also appearing in the *Deadpool* franchise. Even so, the upcoming *Avengers* film could negatively impact how these characters are viewed, so it might be best if they don’t stay around for too long.
