Earlier this month, Disney announced limited edition 4K Blu-ray releases for both *Tron* and *Tron: Legacy*. However, like many Disney and Sony releases, the supply couldn’t meet the high demand. Thankfully, the picture and sound quality on both releases are excellent, so hopefully more copies will become available soon to satisfy eager fans.

The upcoming game *Ninja Gaiden 4*, published by Xbox Game Studios, will surprisingly be available on multiple platforms when it launches on October 21, 2025. It’s currently available for pre-order on Steam, and Steam Deck owners will be happy to know it’s confirmed to work with the handheld device. However, the game will cost $70 at launch, and being Steam Deck Verified doesn’t guarantee perfect performance on the device.

Microsoft raised the prices of its Xbox consoles and games back in May, increasing the Series S to $379 and the Series X to $599. Now, those prices are going up again. This holiday season, the Xbox Series X will cost $650, and the more affordable Series S will be $400. Many fans are upset that the prices of consoles that are already five years old keep increasing.

The *Adventures of Superman* television show first aired on September 19, 1952. Interestingly, the 1951 film *Superman and the Mole-Men* acted as a longer, hour-long preview of what the half-hour TV series would become. While the show kept Superman’s backstory and his secret identity as Clark Kent consistent with the comic books, the stories themselves were all new and created specifically for television, not based on existing comics. The show focused on a core group of four characters: Superman/Clark Kent, played by George Reeves, and his colleagues at the *Daily Planet*: Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and Perry White (John Hamilton). Due to the show’s limited budget and the special effects technology available in the 1950s, most of the crimes Superman solved were smaller, everyday issues. He wasn’t battling supervillains like Lex Luthor or dealing with massive threats like those seen in the recent Superman film.

The Nintendo DS hosted a truly special Pokémon game called *Pokémon Conquest*, which brilliantly blended the classic Pokémon world with the strategy of tactical RPGs, similar to the *Fire Emblem* series. It proved how adaptable Pokémon could be, offering a fresh experience for fans of both franchises. However, since its 2012 release, we haven’t seen anything quite like it, and it’s high time for a follow-up. A sequel or remake of *Pokémon Conquest* would be a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch 2.
