Green will be directing this exciting spin-off, and we kick off the filming this week. The special is slated for release in 2026. This side adventure should provide some intriguing insights into Frank Castle’s journey, bridging the gap between Daredevil: Born Again and Spider-Man: Brand New Day where he’s due to make an appearance. Given that Born Again Season 2 is set for a March premiere, there’s a possibility we might catch the Punisher special even sooner!

Over five years have passed since Netflix announced their intentions to create a series based on Ubisoft’s open-world franchise. According to recent reports, several creative teams have been involved only to depart, leaving Robert Patino and David Wiener in charge. As a dedicated fan, I can’t contain my excitement as Netflix is set to bring the Assassin’s Creed universe to life through a live-action TV series! This project has been in the pipeline for at least five years now, with both Netflix and Ubisoft announcing a slew of projects centered around Assassin’s Creed back in 2020.

However, progress on this project has been rather sluggish, leaving many fans like me eagerly awaiting updates. Intriguingly, during this period, Ubisoft has successfully developed a Splinter Cell anime series. But it seems that the wait is finally over, as the live-action Assassin’s Creed project appears to be gaining momentum, promising a new adventure for us fans very soon!

The series being discussed is none other than “Penny Dreadful,” which first aired on Showtime in 2014. Its unique gothic atmosphere and stunning costumes made it stand out among other shows on TV at the time, and its horror elements further set it apart once they intensified.
