In the realm of animation, Madhouse has earned a reputation second to none, with their series and films consistently receiving top honors. To name a few, they’ve garnered two Japan Academy Prizes, two Gertie Awards, six Mainichi Film Awards, three Ōfuji Noburō Awards, three Animation Grand Awards, two Tokyo Anime Awards for Animation of the Year, and five Animation Kobe Feature Film Awards. The challenge lies in determining which among their masterpieces are truly the studio’s finest. Despite this, I’m thrilled to share some of my personal picks from their outstanding collection – ones no fan should pass up!

These characters, whom we determined were more suited to living non-heroic lives, hail from diverse parts of the Marvel Universe. Regardless of one’s preference, it’s likely that the ideal narrative, hiding in plain sight, awaits its discovery. Animation offers an extraordinary canvas for these stories, as it transcends physical constraints such as budget or practical effects, making the possibilities virtually endless. This boundless potential is one reason we are so captivated by animated sci-fi productions.

This month, Netflix released approximately 5.5 hours of fresh “Sandman” content, and fans have collectively watched it for a total of around 31.5 million hours. The show is a TV adaptation of the “Sandman” comic book published by DC Comics between 1989 and 1996, written by Neil Gaiman with artwork by Sam Kieth, Mike Dringenberg, and others. The second part of the season will be released on July 24th, with a bonus episode wrapping up the series on July 31st.

According to expectations, the map for Pokemon Go should currently be teeming with water-type Pokemon. As expected, there are lots of Magikarp and Slowpoke around. Yet, some players are finding more than they bargained for in their Nearby Radar scans. Players have shared instances where they’ve come across evolved forms of Pokemon that don’t usually appear in the wild, such as Coviknight, Meowscarada, and Tinkaton. These seem to be relatively scarce, but one Pokemon that is typically only found during special events is showing up unexpectedly during the Water Festival event.
