I recently read an interview with Elle Fanning in *Empire* about *Predator: Badlands*, and she had some really interesting things to say about David Jonsson, who’s in *Alien: Romulus*. Apparently, the cast and crew actually went to see *Romulus* while they were filming! She said Jonsson is a fantastic actor and seeing his performance helped her feel more confident in developing her own character, Thia, as a synthetic for *Predator*. It was cool to hear how his work inspired her to create something unique.
According to a new report from Deadline, Kenan Thompson, known for his work on *Saturday Night Live*, and Johnny Ryan Jr. are creating a movie about the life of wrestler Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage. Their production company, Artists for Artists, is behind the project, currently titled *Macho*. The script was written by Savage’s late brother, Lanny Poffo, and Eric Shapiro, and Kenan Thompson, Johnny Ryan Jr., and Paul Coy Allen of Midas Entertainment Group will produce the film.

As a movie and TV buff, I always check out Netflix’s monthly updates, and their October newsletter just dropped. While there’s a bunch of fresh content coming, it also brings the usual bummer: a list of shows and movies leaving the service. As a huge cinema fan, I have to say the original series was a massive hit. Critics loved it, fans went wild for it – especially Grogu, or ‘Baby Yoda’ as everyone called him!
