While Saturday morning cartoons remained popular with children, animation expanded far beyond that. Dedicated channels emerged to serve young audiences, but animated shows also began targeting adults, creating a broader fanbase. These programs not only attracted fans of genres like science fiction, but also helped to popularize animation as a whole.

I’m so excited for October! On the 12th, Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin – the geniuses behind *I Think You Should Leave* – are releasing a new show called *The Chair Company*. It’s supposed to be a really funny and twisty conspiracy story. And then, just a couple weeks after that, on October 26th, HBO is giving us *IT: Welcome to Derry*, a spin-off from Stephen King’s *IT*. It’s going to be a great month for TV!

The update will add several game modes and features that are currently available in newer Ace Attorney games, as seen in the trailer.

As reported by *Deadline*, Denis Villeneuve is planning to cast a relatively unknown actor in his late 20s or early 30s as the next James Bond in *Bond 26*. He’ll start looking for someone after finishing production on *Dune: Messiah* next year. The filmmakers are specifically seeking a British male actor for the role.

Starting September 1st, you can watch the prequel to the horror film *The Omen*, titled *The First Omen* (2024), on Prime Video. This is the first film directed by Arkasha Stevenson, and it tells the story of how Damien’s story began. The movie follows Margaret, played by Nell Tiger Free, a young American woman who discovers a frightening plot at a Catholic orphanage in Rome – a plot to bring about the birth of the Antichrist. *The First Omen* is the sixth installment in *The Omen* series, but unfortunately, the other five films aren’t currently available for streaming and can only be rented or purchased online.
