As reported by *Deadline*, Denis Villeneuve is planning to cast a relatively unknown actor in his late 20s or early 30s as the next James Bond in *Bond 26*. He’ll start looking for someone after finishing production on *Dune: Messiah* next year. The filmmakers are specifically seeking a British male actor for the role.
Starting September 1st, you can watch the prequel to the horror film *The Omen*, titled *The First Omen* (2024), on Prime Video. This is the first film directed by Arkasha Stevenson, and it tells the story of how Damien’s story began. The movie follows Margaret, played by Nell Tiger Free, a young American woman who discovers a frightening plot at a Catholic orphanage in Rome – a plot to bring about the birth of the Antichrist. *The First Omen* is the sixth installment in *The Omen* series, but unfortunately, the other five films aren’t currently available for streaming and can only be rented or purchased online.
This new game promises over 100 hours of classic JRPG gameplay, with a deeper story and more action than the previous two games. It also adds the ability to build and manage towns. Square Enix just released a trailer giving players a comprehensive look at the game.
The newest trailer from the publisher’s online event highlights how the two main characters, Hugh and Diane, can use a safe haven called the Shelter to create and improve their equipment.
While the game’s official name and specifics weren’t revealed, Kadokawa Corporation did share statements from the series creator, Aneko Yusagi, and the character designer, Minami Seira.
The Legend of Dark Witch Episode 4 first launched for PC via Steam on June 20.

This new wave of Funko Pops includes figures of Count Dooku, Kanan Jarrus, ARC Trooper Jesse (with a rare Chase variant featuring a mask), and a cute two-pack of Hondo Ohnaka with his Kowakian monkey-lizard, Pikk. The Ventress figure is particularly noteworthy, as it’s the first Funko Pop ever made of that character and is a really impressive design. The Hondo Pop is also special, since the only previous version was available exclusively at Disney Parks back in 2019.
The upcoming film *Man of Tomorrow* won’t continue the story directly from the original *Superman* movie, but it will bring Superman and Lex Luthor together to face a larger danger. Many believe this enemy will be Brainiac, a classic Superman foe who first appeared in DC Comics in 1958. Brainiac is a super-intelligent alien robot who travels the universe, collecting and shrinking cities to expand his knowledge – including the Kryptonian city of Kandor, which puts him at odds with Superman. Although Brainiac’s introduction to the new DC Universe hasn’t been officially announced, here are seven actors who would be excellent choices to play the villain.
