Hades 2 made a strong impression during its Early Access period, demonstrating a polished game with plenty of potential. Now that the full version is out, players are seeing what Supergiant Games can achieve building on the success of the original Hades. The first Hades received widespread critical acclaim with a Metacritic score of 93, and early reviews suggest Hades 2 is even better. Currently, Hades 2 boasts a Metacritic score of 94, with the Switch and PC versions slightly ahead at 95 and 96 respectively.

What stood out most from the presentation was Hideo Kojima repeatedly talking about his own death. While often said jokingly – especially when discussing the studio’s plans for the next decade – his repeated references offer a surprisingly honest glimpse into his personal struggles.

Season 4 of *The Rising of the Shield Hero* presented Raphtalia with a major challenge: returning to her ruined hometown, which had suffered under the Emperor’s corruption. After successfully leading a revolution to fix things, Naofumi and his party were ready to face the Phoenix and the next wave of monsters. As a huge Netflix fan, I’m already marking my calendar for October! We’re getting new seasons of two shows I’m really into: The Diplomat returns on October 16th, and The Witcher is back on October 30th – and this time, Liam Hemsworth is taking over as Geralt, which I’m super curious about. Plus, if I need a good laugh, more episodes of the hilarious Nobody Wants This are dropping later in the month. It’s going to be a good month for binge-watching!

The new Hawkeye comic starts strong with an opening that clearly ties into the larger ‘Ultimates’ storyline and launches the main plot. Writer Deniz Camp quickly throws readers into an exciting sequence, and the impressive artwork by Juan Frigeri and Federico Blee is a major reason why it feels so captivating.

This new game promises over 100 hours of classic JRPG gameplay, with a deeper story and more action than the previous two games. It also adds the ability to build and manage towns. Square Enix just released a trailer giving players a comprehensive look at the game.

The newest trailer from the publisher’s online event highlights how the two main characters, Hugh and Diane, can use a safe haven called the Shelter to create and improve their equipment.

While the game’s official name and specifics weren’t revealed, Kadokawa Corporation did share statements from the series creator, Aneko Yusagi, and the character designer, Minami Seira.

The Legend of Dark Witch Episode 4 first launched for PC via Steam on June 20.
